Opening: José Carlos Martins - Chairman of CBIC's Advisory Board

A construction entrepreneur and civil engineer for more than 30 years, José Carlos Rodrigues Martins was president of the Brazilian Chamber of the Construction Industry (CBIC) and senior vice-president of the Confederation of Contractors Associations (CICA). He is currently president of the CBIC Advisory Board, a member of the CDESS (Economic, Social and Sustainable Council), a member of the International Housing Association (IHA) and FIIC (Inter-American Construction Federation). In his career, Martins was president of the Association of Real Estate Market Company Managers of Paraná (Ademi-PR). He was president of the National Committee for the Technological Development of Housing (CTECH) of the Ministry of Cities. He has participated directly in the formulation of various public policies such as the PAC, Minha Casa Minha Vida Program and many others. He is currently a consultant on Construction Strategies for Companies and Institutional Representations and also a Board Member of Companies linked to the sector.

Vanessa Ribeiro Teixeira - Head of Architecture at Noah and Felipe Icimoto - Quality and Process Manager at Urbem.

Vanessa Ribeiro Teixeira has a degree in Architecture and Urban Planning, an MBA in Real Estate from ESPM and has worked in the Real Estate market for 14 years. A specialist in product development, she has worked for leading real estate developers in São Paulo. She currently leads the architecture team at Noah, a constructech focused on developing projects using mass timber, decarbonizing construction, new technologies and sustainable solutions.

Felipe Icimoto is Product, Process and After Sales Manager at Urbem, a company driven by sustainability that understands the potential of mass timber in transforming cities. With more than 14 years' experience in the field, Felipe is an Industrial Engineer and post-doctoral fellow in wood structures at USP, and since 2019 he has been part of the Urbem team, always focusing on the best performance of mass timber and customer satisfaction.

Calil Neto - CEO of Rewood - Structural Wood Solutions

Calil Neto is an industrial wood engineer from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho - Unesp (2008), specializing in the production process of glued laminated timber. He holds a master's degree in materials engineering (2011) from the University of São Paulo, in the study of glued laminated timber, analyzing the combination of wood-adhesive and preservative treatment. PhD in civil engineering (2014) from the University of São Paulo, in the study of connections with self-tapping screws without pre-drilling for use in wooden structures in partnership with the Italian company Rothoblass. Partner in the company Rewood (2014), located in Taboão da Serra, where he has had the opportunity to carry out various projects involving projeto/manufacturing and assembly of wooden structures using industrialized wood products, including the first massive timber building in Brazil, located in São Paulo.

Leonardo Marin - Contracts and Planning Coordinator at Tecverde Engenharia SA

Leonardo Marin is Tecverde's Contracts and Planning Coordinator. He is a civil engineer with solid experience in project management, contract management and the planning and control of industrialized constructions, involving manufacturing, assembly and finishing processes. With approximately 6 years' experience in the industry, three of which have been in metal frame construction and the other three in industrialized wood frame construction, his work is focused on lean construction, achieving financial planning and reducing costs.

Vitória Mota Canil - Senior Analyst at Immergrün Construções Inteligentes

Vitória Mota, an industrial wood engineer from UFPel, with a postgraduate degree in Quality and Productivity from Poli USP PRO, has over 3 years' experience in the industrialized woodframe construction sector. She has strategically led a team, offering support to the quality, operations, purchasing and PCM sectors, providing a holistic and integrated view of the processes related to the wood input. He currently plays a key role in expanding the commercial sector of Immergrun, a company dedicated to developing creative, innovative and sustainable solutions using wood structural elements.
