ABD 2026 Color Immersion brings together experts for a 40-hour program on the application of color in interior design

Organized by the Brazilian Association of Interior Designers (ABD), “Color Immersion” takes place from August 17 to September 9 and offers a technical, sensory, aesthetic, and strategic approach to the use of color in design projects.

Color is one of the most important elements in creating an environment. Far beyond aesthetics, it influences perceptions, sensations, behaviors, and experiences, playing a strategic role in decision-making projeto.

With the aim of exploring this field in greater depth, the Brazilian Association of Interior Designers ( ABD ) will hold a new edition of “Imersão de Cor” from August 17 to September 9, 2026. This training program brings together experts from various fields to broaden the repertoire of professionals working in interior design.

With 40 hours of content—13 hours in-person and 27 hours online—the program was designed to bridge theory and practice and provide a comprehensive understanding of the use of color.

Throughout the Immersion Program, participants will be exposed to content covering technical fundamentals, psychodynamics, and color perception, as well as emotional and sensory aspects, art, trends, specifications, and practical applications in interior design.

The goal is to go beyond trends and purely aesthetic choices. Imersão aims to provide professionals with the knowledge they need to understand why, how, and when to use certain colors, enabling them to make more conscious, strategic, and well-informed decisions in their projects.

To this end, the “ ABD ” brings together experts from diverse backgrounds and with varied experiences, fostering a multidisciplinary perspective and bridging the gaps between science, art, behavior, technology, and professional practice.

In addition to the option to participate in the full Color Immersion program, those interested can also sign up for individual classes, choosing the topics and experts that are most relevant to their professional practice.
