BCTE Panama will bring together 15 companies from the national ceramics sector

8th edition of the BCTE - Brazil Ceramic Tiles Experience will take place from 27th to 30th June, in Panama

The 8th edition of BCTE - Brazil Ceramic Tiles Experience already has a date set. The event will take place from 27 to 30 June 2022, in Panama City.

The BCTE Panama will gather 15 companies from the Brazilian ceramic sector in an exclusive exhibition event for international buyers and retailers. The initiative aims to promote Brazilian ceramics abroad and boost sales and business.

The action is part of the calendar of actions of projeto Ceramics of Brazil, an initiative of Anfacer (National Association of Ceramic Tile Manufacturers for Wall and Floor Tiles, Sanitary Ware and Congeners) in partnership with ApexBrasil (Brazilian Agency for the Promotion of Exports and Investments).

This is the third time the city hosts an event of the ceramics sector. The objective is to strengthen the relationship with clients from Central America and the Caribbean, hence the choice of the location, a logistics hub in the region, facilitating access for clients.

The expectation is to receive, in four days of duration, more than 60 distributors, wholesalers, importers and retailers from Central America and South America markets. In the programming business rounds, lectures and integration activities between the retailers of these important markets and the national industry.

Participating in this action:Alfagrês, Angelgres, Cerbras, Carmelo Fior, Cejatel, Dexco, Eliane, Elizabeth Revestimentos, Embramaco, Itagres, Karina Pisos, Lef, Pamesa, Pointer and Villagres.

Meet the BCTE

The first edition of the event, held in 2011 in Miami, resulted in an effective proposal to expand the markets of national ceramic products, increasing the visibility of the brand "Brazil Ceramic Tiles", developing new business opportunities and increasing exports. The result was the holding of 920 business meetings during the four days of the event, ensuring long-term results in terms of relationships and sales.

Besides Miami and Panama City, the event has already been held in Cancun (Mexico), Santiago (Chile), Palm Beach and San Antonio (USA).

Also this year, from 11 to 13 July, another edition of the BCTE will be held in South Africa, with the presence of 10 companies from the sector.  

Exports  

Brazil is the 7th largest exporter of ceramics in the world, with sales to over 110 countries. The main destinations of Brazilian exports are South America (50.8%), North America (24.6%) and Central America (19.9%).

In the Americas, the Dominican Republic, Panama, Honduras, Jamaica, Haiti, Costa Rica and Trinidad and Tobago are among the 15 main destination markets for Brazilian exports in 2021.

In 2021 Brazil exported 130.3 million m², which corresponds to around 13% of national production.

About Projeto Ceramics of Brazil

Created in 2001, projeto sectorial of the Brazilian ceramic industry, Ceramics of Brazil, is promoted by Anfacer (National Association of Manufacturers of Ceramic Tiles for Coverings, Sanitary Ware and Congeners) in partnership with ApexBrasil (Brazilian Agency for the Promotion of Exports and Investments). The objective is to promote Brazilian exports of ceramic tiles and sanitary porcelain fixtures, supporting the Brazilian ceramic industry in its efforts to enter the international market through promotion and participation in fairs and international events, commercial intelligence, among other specific actions.  

About ApexBrasil

The Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil) works to promote Brazilian products and services abroad and attract foreign investment to strategic sectors of the Brazilian economy.
