26TH ECOMAC BAHIA BRINGS TOGETHER THE BUILDING MATERIAL SECTOR AND DISCUSSES THE THEME CREATIVITY AND PROFITABILITY

Held between October 19 and 22, Ecomac Bahia(Meeting of Building Material Merchants of Bahia) brought together more than 1,400 professionals among shopkeepers, representatives, executives and leaders of entities from several Brazilian states, at the Iberostar Praia do Forte hotel in Bahia. EXPO REVESTIR, traditional supporter of the event, was present and presented, first hand, the novelties and its 16th edition (March 13-16, 2018, in São Paulo), besides promoting a relationship action with a raffle and awards to some participants present.

Based on the central theme "Being creative and profitable: Today's challenge", the program included several lectures and debates with the participation of renowned professionals in the sector, such as entrepreneur Alexandre Cohim, from Leo Madeiras, Salvador, who opened the cycle of presentations. After the explanation of the shopkeeper from Bahia, the entrepreneur Guilherme Ferreira Costa spoke about "133 years of retail: The trajectory of Ferreira Costa", the sector's largest chain in the Northeast.

The second day began with a lecture by Cláudio Conz, executive president of Anamaco, who reported the economic scenario of the construction material sector. To close the content grid, all those present watched the panel "Rethinking Brazil", measured by journalist Ricardo Boechat, who began with a synthesis of his vision of the current Brazilian political scenario and perspectives, and the participation of Marcos Atchabahian (president of the Deliberative Council of Anamaco), Alexandre Cohim (leader of Acomac-BA and shopkeeper), Carlos Portela (president of Acomac-PE), Alexandre Baumgart (director of the board of Vedacit).
