AECweb Conference 2022 brings together construction experts and professionals
21/6/2022
Series of webinars will take place between 28 and 30 June, with free registration
The AECweb Portal, in partnership with the consultancy Cozza Comunicação, will hold the AECweb Conference 2022, a three-day event to promote discussions between experts and construction professionals on issues of technology, performance and comfort for residential, commercial and mixed-use works.
There are three days of talks, between 28 and 30 June, from 2pm to 5pm. Each day of the event will feature three different speakers, who will also answer questions from the public live.
On June 28, the theme is "Cases of building works: execution challenges", which will feature the participation of engineers:
- Carlos Makohin - civil engineer graduated from PUC-PR, MBA from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV) and general manager of works in the Laguna Group;
- Oscar Favero - civil engineer from Mackenzie University, MBA in strategic and economic business management from Fundação Getulio Vargas and engineering superintendent of Porte Engenharia e Urbanismo; and
- Ricardo França - civil engineer from Escola Politécnica da Universidade de São Paulo, master and doctor from Poli-USP and director of França e Associados Engenharia.
The initiative arose as an educational alternative, with the aim of guiding professionals in the construction sector amid the dilemmas brought about by economic and political uncertainties in the area. Sectorial inflation, high interest rates and investment restrictions are some of the challenges that construction companies and real estate developers have faced, due to the period of instability.
Allied to the educational proposal, the AECweb Conference will also provide an environment for exchanges, with success stories and trends in engineering and architecture.
Thus, the debates will approach the technologies, the constructive systems and the technical solutions that may help the companies to obtain better results in their enterprises, in a way that they meet the requirements of NBR 15575. In addition, the tips will contemplate ways to meet the demands related to performance, comfort, durability, sustainability and demands from residents and users of real estate in a post-pandemic scenario.
Despite having a defined target audience - engineers, architects, designers and students in the area, for example - the webinars are open to the public, for anyone who is interested. To register, just click here. The broadcasts will take place both on the event's hotsite and on YouTube of the AECweb Portal.
