Anfacer holds International ISO TC 189 - Ceramic Tiles Committee Meeting

Anfacer will hold from 12 to 14 November, the Meeting of the International Committee of ISO TC 189 - Ceramic Tiles Committee. Highly relevant, the meeting of the body prepares and reviews standards related to the ceramic sector worldwide and will be attended by about 50 representatives from the following countries: Germany, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Spain, USA, Philippines, France, India, England, Israel, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Mexico, Norway, Portugal, Kenya, Sweden and Turkey.

At the ISO meeting, the ceramics sector will be represented by Ana Paula Menegazzo (CCB - Centro Cerâmico do Brasil Superintendent), Amanda Neme (ANFACER Technical Consultant), Laura Paiva (Secretary of ANFACER's Brazilian Ceramic Tile Committee) and
Mauricio Borges (ANFACER Director General). The meetings cover ceramic sector standards relating to testing methods, special thin tiles, product specifications, antimicrobial properties of ceramic tile surfaces, sustainability, among other subjects.
