ApexBrasil is awarded international quality seal

On completing 25 years, the agency receives the NBR ISO 9001 certificate, for the excellence of its international fairs. In 2021, the agency served 6,392 companies in commercial promotion actions
The Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil) received, on Friday (5), the NBR ISO 9001 certification, which proves the conformity of its Quality Management System (QMS) to the requirements of the standard.
The ceremony was held at the Agency's headquarters in Brasília, with the presence of collaborators, directors and guests. The agency works to showcase Brazilian companies, products and services to the world and attract foreign investments to the country by means of programs and actions aimed at several sectors of the Brazilian economy.
The NBR ISO 9001 proves that ApexBrasil continuously improves its processes and develops products and services that meet the requirements of customer satisfaction. Among the strengths of ApexBrasil pointed out by the certifying body, Fundação Carlos Alberto Vanzolini, are the high level of engagement among employees, the robustness of the documentation, the transparency of its actions, the investment in the universalization of training in quality and the organizational communication.
Being certified by NBR ISO 9001 is part of one of the goals of the ApexBrasil Strategic Plan 2020-2023, which is to increase the maturity in governance and compliance of the Agency. Achieved even earlier than expected, which was 2023, the certificate is an international recognition of the work done by the agency.
NBR ISO 9001
Created by the Swiss company International Organization for Standardization, ISO 9001 is an internationally recognized standard that certifies the Quality Management System (QMS) and defines the requirements (standardization tools) for the implementation of the system in an organization. The Quality Management System (QMS) serves as a tool to help the manager find and correct inefficient processes within the organization. In addition, it is a way to document the culture of the organization, allowing the business to grow while maintaining the quality of the goods and services provided. The certificate is valid for 3 years and the certified organization must undergo annual audits to ensure compliance of the management system.
