ARCHITECTURE: LAUNCHES FOCUSED ON EASY MAINTENANCE, HIGH DURABILITY AND INNOVATION
With numerous novelties, EXPO REVESTIR, taking place from 1 to 4 March at the Transamérica Expo Center in São Paulo, presents the latest in tiles, cementitious and other coverings created to personalise the home in style.
Nina Martinelli: waterproof brick made of ceramic
Nina Martinelli shows, first hand, the Brick line, made of ceramics and that brings the possibility of various finishes, which proposes versatility in choice.
The tile is ideal for use on façades and the available finishes include Nina Martinelli Waterproofing, a product that waterproofs the wall and can be applied after laying. Suitable for all environments, indoors and outdoors, Brick is easy to maintain and has the high durability of ceramic tiles.
SRS Group: inspiration in cities
Achieving visual lightness through tones, varied shapes and designs inspired by national and international capitals is in the DNA of the collections launched by Gruppo SRS this year at EXPO REVESTIR.
The cementitious line, for example, was created with varied shapes in a colour palette that goes through greys, blues and earthy colours for indoor and outdoor areas.
It was with a focus on the fashion world of Bahia, for example, that Projeto Renda-se emerged, specifically in Richelieu, an embroidery technique and one of the rich manual arts produced by lace makers. The designs were printed to bring the Brazilian richness to print walls and floors. The same concept was applied in other collections that go through themes such as fishing and indigenous tribes, printed through colours and geometric shapes.
Colormix: tiles with an urban touch
Colormix launches the Paulista line tiles, produced in Spain, which bring in the concept of the collection, the cosmopolitan and urban air of the city of São Paulo. The line is offered in two shades of gray, each with two decorated models and one plain model. Among the collections, Acorn Cemento and Grafito and Orchard stand out.
Marcos Contrera: the fair as a thermometer for the market
The architect Marcos Contrera sees EXPO REVESTIR as a platform for launching trends, products and also as a market thermometer.
