Berlin Design Week 2022 occupies the German capital until 22 May

From May 12 to 22, Berlin Design Week returns to the German capital with a programme of lectures, exhibitions and other creative events under the theme "Higher Purpose".

The "Higher Purpose" proposed by the event invites participants to consider how we can reshape our world in order to design a better and more sustainable future in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.

Various presentations, participatory projects and networking events are held across the city by national and international designers as well as brands and cultural and research institutions.

While Berlin Design Week covers many aspects of design, the programme places particular emphasis on experimental and multidisciplinary research-based projects.
