CASACOR São Paulo announces date and location; check it out and schedule yourself

The São Paulo edition of the event takes place from 5 July to 11 September, at the Conjunto Nacional on Avenida Paulista
To celebrate 35 years in activity, the São Paulo edition of the architecture, interior design and decoration show CASACOR innovates in the address: the Conjunto Nacional on Avenida Paulista. The place, which was designed 63 years ago by architect David Libeskind, will host the event from July 5 to September 11.
Architect from Paraná, Libeskind designed an urban complex that mixed residential and commercial spaces, which was a landmark on the avenue, then known for the eclectic mansions of the coffee barons. Innovative, the projeto derived from a competition is still celebrated for being in a pulsating centre of art, culture, architecture, gastronomy, entertainment, commerce and sustainability.
The construction is in line with a current urbanism concept, conceived by the French-Colombian thinker Carlos Moreno: the "15-minute city". According to this idea, the urban fabric should be planned in such a way that inhabitants find everything they need to live - home, school, work, shopping, services, leisure - within a 15-minute walk or bicycle ride.
"Six decades later, Conjunto Nacional is still in tune with the premises of the new urbanism and there was no better place to celebrate such an important date for CASACOR São Paulo," adds Livia.
With more than 10,000m² of floor space, CASACOR São Paulo will occupy the mezzanine of the complex, composed of striking brises and an open terrace, which once housed the Fasano restaurant. The event's master plan relies on consultancy firm FGMF, which will accommodate studios, lofts, wellness islands and restaurant, bar and café operations on the site.
"We chose, for the first time, to be in a large cultural corridor, a space that will delight those who already know the show, but that will also bring CASACOR closer to a new audience, more diverse and plural," says André Secchin, General Director of CASACOR.
Infinite Private
This year's theme, "Infinite Private", makes reference to biographical houses. The curators of CASACOR, Livia Pedreira, Pedro Ariel Santana and Cris Ferraz, based on trend research, invited the cast of the show to reflect on the need to design environments that prioritise physical, mental and spiritual well-being, harmony, balance and comfort.
"The house of the hyperdigital age, enclosed in itself and hyperconnected, is more sustainable, diverse, supportive and loving. A haven centred on well-being, where each person can imprint their story. Colours, art, furniture, family memories, textures, plants, perfumes", adds Livia Pedreira.
Connectivity and digital go beyond the theme of the event and are part of CASACOR. "We will continue to expand the digital experiences. We plan to go far beyond what we already offer today, providing an immersion in the CASACOR universe before, during and after the event," said André Secchin.
"CASACOR has always evolved in form and content, keeping alive in its DNA the challenge of presenting creative, versatile, and appropriate proposals for the moment. A good example was the innovative projeto Janelas CASACOR and the implementation of the format nationally, without losing the essence of the brand, created in 1986," recalls Secchin.
