For almost 20 years, the Brazilian Association of Manufacturers of Ceramic Tiles, Sanitary Ware and Related Products(ANFACER) has owned and organized EXPO REVESTIR, the largest trade show of finishing solutions in Latin America and the fourth largest of the segment in the world.

Throughout these successful years, the event has become a must-attend for construction professionals and entrepreneurs, architects, engineers and professionals from other sectors in the construction chain, having reached the 60,000 visitors mark in its 2020 edition.

ANFACER, which has always sought to overcome challenges in the growth of EXPO REVESTIR over the years, this time finds itself facing a global challenge that is difficult to overcome at this time and in the coming months: the Covid-19 Pandemic.

Concerned with its select public, but also with its exhibitors, collaborators and all those involved in the realization of EXPO REVESTIR, ANFACER sought various alternatives for maintaining the event, consulting with highly qualified medical professionals, as well as with the Public Authorities, by sending official letters to the Governor of the State of São Paulo and to the Mayor of the City of São Paulo.

As a result of these consultations, it was verified that there are no conditions for holding an event of the size of EXPO REVESTIR in the coming months. According to our findings, there is no legal support or sanitary protocol that would allow the holding of an event with more than 60,000 visitors and exhibitors in a pavilion the size of Expo Transamerica, with just over 40,000 square meters, without causing agglomeration, as EXPO REVESTIR is.

Given this scenario, ANFACER communicates to its participants, exhibitors and all professionals and companies related to the realization and participation of EXPO REVESTIR that the 2021 edition, scheduled for March, will be 100% digital.
