Expo Revestir 2024 brought a series of innovations and trends for the architecture and interior design sector. Among the highlights, two ultra-compact materials stood out as finalists for the Best in Show award in the Best Ultra Compact category: Dekton Ukiyo and Iconic Cipollino by Gramarcal Mármores e Granitos.
Cosentino - Dekton Ukiyo
Created in collaboration with interior designer Claudia Afshar, it represents an innovation in the ultra-compact market. The collection stands out for its textured linear fluting, which offers impeccable aesthetics. This product is specially designed for vertical cladding, including facades, fireplaces and custom furniture.
Dekton Ukiyo is available in a matt finish and two fluting options, making it a versatile choice for a variety of applications. In addition, the ready-to-install corrugated sheets are an innovation in the sector, making it easy to apply to different projects. One of the great differentials of the Dekton range is its carbon neutrality throughout its life cycle, reinforcing the brand's commitment to sustainability and high performance.
Gramarcal Mármores e Granitos - Iconic Cipollino
This year, Gramarcal presented its exclusive Infinity range, made up of ultra-compact, high-quality slabs that combine sophistication and innovation. The slats are known for their exceptional durability and strength, making them ideal for a variety of applications, from kitchen worktops to wall and floor coverings. In addition to durability, they offer a wide range of benefits, including stain and scratch resistance, low water absorption and a wide variety of designs and finishes.
The finalist for the Best in Show award was Iconic Cipollino, an ultra-compacted porcelain tile that enchants with its uniqueness. With patterns reminiscent of gray-green marble, the surface looks like it has been sculpted by the waves of the sea, bringing a sense of movement and sophistication to rooms.
