Dexco: new factory park will have 4.0 technology and production of maxiformats
12/9/2022
With an investment of R$ 600 million and a production capacity of 10 million m² per year, Dexco announces the projeto of its newest manufacturing park, in Botucatu, interior of São Paulo, with the first factory with technology 4.0, since its inauguration. The construction period is approximately two years and the brand plans to deliver the first product line in 2023.
This is because all production lines will start their work already robotized, with online notes, self-diagnosis of machines, and records for maintenance via mobile.
The unit will supply the Ceusa and Portinari brands, producing large-format ceramic tiles, which can be used in countertops and facades, replacing marble slabs. The operation will complement the production of ceramic tiles of the company's four units located in Urussanga and Criciúma, in the state of Santa Catarina.
"We chose this region because of its distribution and logistical costs, its proximity to the expanding markets in the Midwest and Northeast of the country, and the greater availability of natural gas. In addition, another important factor for the decision was the proximity to other factories of the company, such as the laminate flooring plant in Agudos-SP and the china and metal products plant in Jundiaí-SP, thus being able to offer complete solutions to consumers and customers," explains Antonio Joaquim de Oliveira, Dexco's president.
