Ecomac Bahia Moves the Building Material Retail Segment

The 22nd edition of Ecomac Bahia was held from 24 to 27 October, bringing together shopkeepers, representatives and entities from the construction material sector at the Iberostar Praia do Forte resort in Salvador. Promoted by Acomac Bahia, with the support of Anamaco, the meeting focused on the theme "People management: how to attract, keep and qualify talents", and attracted 1,400 professionals from the region.

The event programme, which was supported by ANFACER and EXPO REVESTIR, the main finishing solutions fair for civil construction in Latin America, included a broad programme of lectures, workshops and integration and networking activities. Among the highlights were the lectures "People leadership as a competitive differential of the 21st century", by Paulo Lopes; "How to build a champion team", by Paulo Storani and "Communicating is investing", by Luiz Albuquerque, executive director of the Correio newspaper, from Rede Bahia.

On the occasion, EXPO REVESTIR had an exclusive space, where it could receive and present the participants with water cameras, which were used during leisure time during the event. It also held an exclusive raffle of a personalized Montblanc pen for the retailers present. Retailers represent one of the main audiences of EXPO REVESTIR, along with architects, interior designers, builders and international buyers. The meeting also included shows by Banda Cheiro de Amor and singer Margareth Menezes, who closed the event.
