Expo Revestir receives Brazilian Retailers Award

EXPO REVESTIR was highlighted in the 24th edition of the Top Anamaco Award, organized by the National Association of Building Material Retailers. Considered one of the main awards for the Construction Material Industry and Trade sector, the solemnity highlighted the companies operating in 65 segments, recognised last year, based on the results of the Anamaco University Research Institute survey.

Known as the ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION FASHION WEEK, EXPO REVESTIR was awarded in the category Marketing and Sales, with the case study "Retail from North to South: EXPO REVESTIR Sector Integration Program".

Promoted by ANFACER (Associação Nacional dos Fabricantes de Cerâmica para Revestimentos, Louças Sanitárias e Congêneres), EXPO REVESTIR has participated in the last three years of the ECOMACS, Construction Material Merchants Meetings, in the South, Southeast and Northeast regions, and has carried out several relationship actions with store owners, creating a greater integration with the construction materials retail sector.

This action resulted in an increase in the number of visitors to the fair and created excellent opportunities for dealers to establish privileged contacts with the largest manufacturers of wall and floor coverings, sanitary ware and metals, who were able to close good deals during the four days of the event.

"Among the more than 60 thousand professionals who visit EXPO REVESTIR every year, the participation of building materials retailers in 2015 broke the record of its history. The main shopkeepers from all regions of Brazil present, checked the novelties of 235 exhibitors, in the 40 thousand m² of fair, distributed in 7 pavilions of Transamerica Expo Center. We are very pleased to receive this award and it shows the importance of the fair for retail", reveals Lauro Andrade Filho, director of ANFACER and EXPO REVESTIR, who represented the entity during the award ceremony.

It is also important to highlight the Meeting of Construction Material Industry and Retail Leaders, an event held in parallel to EXPO REVESTIR and supported by Revista Anamaco - Grau 10 Editora, which presents lectures and debates on important themes for the sector. The event has already had the presence of renowned retail executives, besides journalists and economists of weight such as William Waack (in the last edition), Ricardo Amorim, Miriam Leitão and Eduardo Gianetti da Fonseca.

The Top Anamaco Award is based on a survey that provides a detailed report on the participation of the industries, the shopkeeper's perception of them and their after-sales service, among other aspects. Entrepreneurs, retail and industry members, journalists, authorities and members of Acomacs and Fecomacs from all over the country participated in the award ceremony.
