Ceramic and porcelain tiles constitute a universe of infinite possibilities of use in the home. Because of the union between comfort, functionality and aesthetics that these materials promote, they tend to be the number 1 choice of architects and interior designers in the projects they develop for their clients. We invited the architect Kesley Santiago, from Artek Design, to comment on some of the environments she has designed that made use of these coverings.

Check it out below:

ROOM I - Joined with other coverings, such as the slatted panels, the porcelain tile shone on the floor and walls.

INTEGRATED KITCHEN - Floors , countertops and lighting that mixes artificial and natural light were responsible for designing the architect's sophisticated and practical ideas

EXTERNAL AREA - Barbecue area and floor received interventions with porcelain tiles, as proposed by Kesley Santiago.

DINING ROOM - With strong yet subtle applications, the idea was to make a good conversation between the tile, the wood and the floor-to-ceiling mirror.

INTEGRATED LIVING - The exposed brick, highlighted by the light rail, brought charm to the room with tones of white, pink, and gray.

LIVING I - Brick shines again in this sophisticated proposal in which decorative shelves are mimicked and highlighted by spot lighting.

BEDROOM II - In a show of lightness, the professional applied tile from the skirting board to the ceiling and invested in a black wooden panel, from outside to outside, which provided support for the headboard, side table and a work of art.

BATHROOM - A mix of coatings makes up the dry and wet areas and scales the walls and countertops. The mixture brings lightness and visual movement by joining different textures, taking advantage of the verticality and practicality with strategic niches.

LIVING II - Three-dimensional effects, sober tones, and woodwork are highlighted by the choice of coverings, as in this living room signed by the architect.
