Laufen: impeccable design and Swiss precision

Founded in 1892, the Swiss brand Laufen bets on the concept of impeccable design and Swiss precision, which will once again be reinforced at the stand, which features the sophisticated and very high quality portfolio. In addition to products and environments, the brand dedicates a space of the stand to Impressions 2018:19 - from Basel to Brazil, projeto unites novelties in design with the production of ceramic sculptures in SaphirKeramik, exclusive technology of the Laufen brand. Thanks to the joint work with visual artists Maria-Carmen Perlingeiro, Alex Flemming, Zezão, Christina Oiticica and SHN (Marcelo Fazolin, Haroldo Paranhos, Eduardo Saretta) works of art have been created that honour Brazil and its culture. At the same time, the work of the five artists is presented in a different and unusual way.

The inaugural exhibition of Impressões 2018:19 - from Basel to Brasil was held in November 2018 in Basel (Switzerland) on the occasion of the centenary of the birth of founder Walter Wüthrich of the Centro Cultural Brasileia. At Design Miami in December 2018 in Miami (USA), SaphirKeramik's sculptures will be on display. After Revestir in São Paulo (Brazil), the sculptures will be presented at the Architecture during Art Event", organised by Laufen in Basel/Switzerland in June 2019.
