Michelangelo Mármores do Brasil®️ celebrates 35 years of history and 10 years at Expo Revestir with an immersive stand designed by architect Marcos Bertoldi
10/2/2025
The Projeto is inspired by historic Italian architecture, specifically the Gothic and Romanesque styles, highlighting the brand's exclusive Napoleon Bordeaux® red marble.

In 2025, Michelangelo Mármores do Brasil®️ will be celebrating two important milestones: 35 years of history and a decade of participation in Expo Revestir, the largest flooring event in Latin America, which takes place from March 10 to 14 at the São Paulo Expo.
Recognized for the excellence and timelessness of its Brazilian marble, the brand from Paraná is preparing a unique experience for visitors, reaffirming its commitment to innovation, art and sustainability. For Michelangelo, the fair goes beyond a showcase; it is a time to strengthen ties with strategic clients and consolidate its position as a reference in the market. "Expo Revestir is the epicenter of national architecture and design, attracting the sector's leading professionals. In this edition, we want to highlight the greatness of Brazilian marble and its ability to inspire unique creations. We are proud to celebrate this trajectory with a projeto that unites history, art and design," says Priscila Fleischfresser, CEO of Michelangelo.

Projeto stand was designedby Marcos Bertoldi
With 60 m², the largest stand ever presented by Michelangelo at the fair, the space was designed by renowned architect Marcos Bertoldi, from Paraná, with a career spanning 43 years, more than 100 works and numerous awards under his belt. Inspired by Italian Romanesque architecture and the work of Swiss architect Mario Botta, the projeto stands out as an immersive installation, taking visitors on a sensory journey.
"Our aim is to transport the public to a universe of sensations, highlighting the magnificence and versatility of Michelangelo marble, while celebrating Brazil's cultural and natural wealth," says Priscila.
Externally, the stand features a minimalist structure in pure white, with White Marble Michelangelo®️, which contrasts with the visual bustle of the fair. Inside, references to medieval Gothic and Romanesque architecture, reinterpreted in a contemporary way, mix with vibrant shades of red, tubular shapes and an artistic atmosphere reminiscent of a living organism. In the center of the space, a fragmented marble bench with a laser-cut appearance symbolizes the fusion of tradition and innovation.
Michelangelo 's exclusive marbles take center stage on the stand, applied in innovative ways:
- White Michelangelo®: appears at the entrance and on the outside, emphasizing its purity and elegance. Also used inside, together with Napoleon Bordeaux®.
- Grigio Michelangelo®: used in secondary access, it combines sophistication and versatility with its grey tone and white veins, ideal for flooring, fireplaces and panels.
- Napoleon Bordeaux®: is predominant on the bench, with its striking red and white and brown veins, guaranteeing exclusivity to the room. Used extensively in the interior of the space, together with Branco Michelangelo®.
These marbles, extracted and processed in Brazil, are known for their high resistance, low porosity and unique beauty. Works such as the Alvorada and Planalto Palaces in Brasilia and the Cidade Matarazzo in São Paulo use the Michelangelo brand, which combines tradition and modernity.
