Pinakotheke Cultural, in RJ, has two exhibitions on display

The art gallery is located in the Botafogo neighborhood, in the South Zone of Rio de Janeiro's capital

The Pinakotheke Cultural, in Rio de Janeiro, opens next Monday (25) the exhibition "Frans Krajcberg (1921-2017) - Nature in black and white", in collaboration with the Association of Friends of Frans Krajcberg. The public can also check out the exhibition "Sacred Geometry", by Rubem Valentim (1922-1991).

The Krajcberg exhibition is curated by Galciane Neves and Max Perlingeiro, and celebrates the birth centenary of the Polish sculptor, photographer, and artist.

The exhibition will be accompanied by the book "... when I woke up, nature was black and white", that gathers texts by Galciane Neves, Jaider Esbell, Thiago de Mello, Max Pelingeiro, Bené Fonteles, an interview of the curator with the artist Advânio Lessa (1982, Lavras Novas, Minas Gerais), Krajcberg's friend, and also the Rio Negro Manifesto of Integral Naturalism.

The show will be on display until August 27, Monday through Saturday, from 10am to 6pm.

Also on display at the Pinakotheke Cultural is the exhibition "Sacred Geometry", by Rubem Valentim (1922-1991). The exhibition brings together almost 100 works, including paintings, drawings, and sculptures, and is available to the public until July 30.
