Based in Milan, Italy, the Piuarch studio is known for its bold designs and for exploring the interaction between design, fashion, art and interior architecture.
Germán Fuenmayor tells that he and his partner, Francesco Fresa, will speak during the INTERNATIONAL ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION FORUM about their work with different important brands, such as Dolce & Gabbana's headquarter in Milan and the first Givenchy shop in Seoul, South Korea, as well as projects for Gucci, Fendi, Les Hommes and Brioni. He also tells that they will approach the references, creative processes and show how important is the relationship between the novelties of design and what already exists.
Always with a keen eye for the international scene, especially Russia, China, Algeria, Ukraine and South Korea, Piuarch has won first prize in several competitions, for works such as Ansaldo City of Cultures (2000), in Milan, in partnership with David Chipperfield; the New Riva del Garda Conference Center (2007), in Trento (Italy); the Onda Bianca building in Porta Nuova, Milan (2006); The extension of the Collegio di Milano (2007); the office block in Champigny-sur-Marne, France (2013), the new Fendi production headquarters (2017), the extension of the Brioni headquarters (2017), Premio Architetto Italiano 2013, among others.
