Pritzker Prize

On the stage of the Expo Revestir International Forum (FIER +) we had six Pritzker Award winners, who were able to share a little of their experiences, projects, concepts and professional trajectory. They are: Christian de Portzamparc (France, Pritzker 1994), Paulo Mendes da Rocha (Brazil, Pritzker 2006), Kazuyo Sejima (Japan, Pritzker2010), Ryūe Nishizawa (Japan, Pritzker 2010), Eduardo Souto de Moura (Portugal, Pritzker2011) and Toyo Ito (Japan, Pritzker 2013).

The Pritzker Award is the most important recognition a professional of architecture can receive, offered to those who have produced significant contributions to humanity over the years. In Brazil, only two architects have been awarded the prize. In addition to Paulo Mendes da Rocha, Oscar Niemeyer was honored in 1988.
