BUILDER'S DAY: RELEVANT THEMES FOR CIVIL CONSTRUCTION
With executives and representatives of the most important Brazilian construction companies, the third day of the INTERNATIONAL ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION FORUM took place on Thursday 13 March. At the opening, Antonio Carlos Kieling, superintendent of ANFACER and president of EXPO REVESTIR and FORUM spoke. In the sequence, Paulo Kiss, editorial director of Editora Pini.
The lectures that were part of the programme revolved around important themes for civil construction. The first one was: "Performance Standards: Where are we? Where are we going?", conducted by Ana Paula Menegazzo, superintendent of CCB (Ceramic Center of Brazil). To compose this panel were invited the technical executive director of Tecnisa, Eng. Fábio Villas Boas, the technical engineering manager of Portobello, Luis Henrique Manetti and the general coordinator of PBQP-H (Brazilian Program of Quality and Productivity of Habitat), of the Ministry of Cities, Maria Salette Weber. "We always hope for a promising future for the Civil Construction sector, since this moment of great investments in housing and infrastructure is associated with the bold targets set by the Federal Government," emphasizes Maria Salette.
Continuing the program, the BIM in practice panel took place: the experience of Camargo Correa Desenvolvimento Imobiliário (CCDI), Deca and Quattro D in projeto - New Parker -, an important development in São Paulo.
Finishing the Builder's Day was another important panel still related to BIM in the daily life of the companies Odebrecht, Docol and Camila Klein Arquitetura.
BOOMSPDESIGN BRINGS SIGNED SWINGS TO EXPO REVESTIR
In an action that united design, sensation and return to childhood, BOOMSPDESIGN brought to EXPO REVESTIR the exhibition Refresh, with two swings signed by designers Zanini de Zanine and Sérgio Matos. The space worked as an attraction for those who wanted to rest for a few minutes in the colourful lull of the stand proposed by curator Beto Cocenza, creator of projeto.
SURFACE DESIGN: 2015 COLOURS AND CREATIVE PROCESS
Today was the second day of the workshop "DESIGN-SE", promoted by SIQ Marketing and the main theme was Surfaces and Innovation. The course had the participation of professionals from various areas for the discussion and understanding of the very comprehensive theme.
In focus, the use of different surfaces inspired by influences in other areas, such as fashion, but translated into the coatings. Participated Joyce Diehl, journalist and Blanca Liane, executive of Pantone. The theme "creative processes" was the focus of interior designer Fabio Galeazzo.
FERNANDO PEIXOTO SHOWS DETAILS OF HIS WORKS IN BOOK
Architect Fernando Peixoto held, in the EXPO REVESTIR reception room, the launch of the book "4 Fernando Peixoto Projects", which shows the contemporaneity of his work. The book is part of a collection focused on architecture that records the work of a number of relevant Brazilian architects. Fernando and Mila Peixoto were welcomed by EXPO REVESTIR President Antonio Carlos Kieling and its director, Lauro Andrade.
CERAMIC AND PORCELAIN TILES STAND OUT WITH HIGH DEFINITION DIGITAL PRINTS
Featured in the new collections of most exhibitors at EXPO REVESTIR 2014, Full HD digital printing on ceramics and porcelain tiles is consolidated as one of the main trends for the year. The technology applied allows the most diverse types of images to be printed. The technique allows printing on small pieces and also in large formats. Among the launches are reproductions that imitate hydraulic tiles, bricks and wood.
EXPO REVESTIR RESERVES MANY NEWS ON THE LAST DAY
On the last day of EXPO REVESTIR, the attractions are still sensational. Besides the booths with the main national and international companies showing their launches and trends, the INTERNATIONAL ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION FORUM presents the French lecturers Alexandre Allard, Antoine Vernholes and Denis Valode in the important cycle of lectures. The program continues with the delivery of the Saint-Gobain Sustainable Habitat Edition Award, which recognizes and rewards innovative proposals that expand the concept of sustainability in construction.
