Astra brings safety and accessibility to Expo Revestir 2024

Astra, one of the most important suppliers of items for the construction industry in the country and the largest manufacturer of toilet seats in Latin America, is presenting at Expo Revestir 2024, the largest coatings and finishes fair in Latin America, the new Anodized Aluminum Support Bars, which come as yet another finish and price option to make up the brand's Accessibility Line, as well as the 5-in-1 Multipurpose Chair Astra, a sales success that is now even more reinforced.

The Anodized Aluminum Support Bar will be available in six sizes (30, 40, 50, 60, 70 and 80 cm), supports 150 kg, has a diameter of 32 mm and is fixed at 3 points on each side, in compliance with the accessibility standard (NBR 9050). It offers users autonomy, comfort and safety, which are fundamental to ensuring that environments are inclusive and accessible to all, especially people with special needs or reduced mobility.

Another great novelty is the 5-in-1 Multipurpose Chair Astra. Launched in 2021 and a sales success, the new version is even more resistant. Suitable for people with walking difficulties or special needs, the product can be used as a support for getting up, a side bar in the toilet bowl, a chair for bathing or hygiene and as a raised seat, thus replacing the purchase of various products and providing savings, practicality and safety in everyday life.  

Another distinguishing feature is its ease of transportation and storage, as it is lightweight and foldable. Made of aluminum and plastic, it has rubberized feet and can be used in dry or wet environments, with adjustable foot height and support for up to 120 kg.

The entire Astra accessibility range can be seen in an exclusive environment set up at the 400 square meter stand designed by Rodrigo Ohtake and Oswaldo Mellone, which will also include two more bathrooms.
