Brand reaffirms its position as a benchmark for innovation and design in Latin America

Docol, a benchmark in design and innovation in the metals, sanitary ware and stainless steel sinks segment, has just been recognized with six awards at the prestigious iF Design Award 2025. The winning products include the DocolTwist range of bathroom accessories - developed by designer Ana Neute - the Docol Benefit range - aimed at accessibility in the bathroom - the DocolFlow basin, the Mantis range, designed by Marcelo Alvarenga and Juliana Figueiró, from Play Arquitetura, the Docol PressMatic Ômega tap, as well as the brand's stand at Expo Revestir 2024, awarded for the second year running.

The award, one of the most renowned in the segment, reaffirms Docol 's position as the most awarded brand in Latin America, with other important recognitions such as the Red Dot Award and Good Design. This international distinction reinforces the brand's commitment to combining aesthetics, functionality and innovation.

"Winning six categories in the award reinforces Docol 's position as a global benchmark in innovation and functionality. Each of these recognitions reflects our commitment to developing products and solutions that transform the user experience, combining sophistication, efficiency and sustainability. In the case of our stand at Expo Revestir, the award validates an essential concept for the future of design: the intelligent reuse of materials, without compromising creativity and excellence in presentation. We continue to drive the sector forward with innovative projects in line with the needs of an increasingly conscious and demanding world," says Fernando Gama, CMO of Docol.

Sustainability in the spotlight

Designed by Bloco Arquitetos, Docol 's stand at Expo Revestir 2024, Latin America's largest trade fair for wall and floor coverings and sanitary ware, highlights the brand's concern with more sustainable solutions by reusing the entire structure from the previous year, with a new setting.

Preserving 100% of the original glued laminated timber (MLC) structure, the space has been renovated with new coverings and an updated layout. Designed for quick assembly - in just two days - its open and modular grid allows for the installation of lighting and product displays in an efficient and sophisticated way, as well as reducing waste and promoting the reuse of the structure.

Functional sophistication with the DocolTwist range

Designed by Brazilian designer Ana Neute, the DocolTwist range elevates bathroom design with a minimalist and functional style, transforming the bathing experience into a spa-like ritual.

"Collaborating with Docol was an opportunity to redefine the boundaries of traditional bathroom design, integrating functionality with cutting-edge aesthetics. The recognition by Good Design reinforces the relevance of this work in the market," says Ana Neute. The range is part of the Domos projeto , a collection of exclusive pieces signed by big names in architecture and design.

Accessibility combined with design and comfort

The Docol Benefit line combines accessibility and design without stigma, guaranteeing more independence and comfort. It caters for people with disabilities or reduced mobility, following the NBR 9050 standard. With precise operation and easy installation, it includes support bars, taps, mixers and an articulated stool. Available in modern colors, it combines functionality, sophistication and durability.

Minimalism and innovative functionality

The DocolFlow bowl stands out for its minimalist design and functional innovation. Its concept prioritizes efficiency, hygiene and usability, with thin edges and sloping drainage in the shape of a ramp, ensuring that the surface always remains dry and clean - which reduces the proliferation of microorganisms.

"Our design comes from a deep understanding of the market and people's real needs. We observed common challenges, such as standing water in the bowl, and sought to innovate. DocolFlow sinks have a steeply inclined bowl to ensure complete drainage, as well as a strategically decentralized water outlet valve (VSA) that expands the internal space of the unit," says Marcelo Alves, a designer at Docol.

Elegance, technology and finesse

Designed by Marcelo Alvarenga and Juliana Figueiró, from Play Arquitetura, the Mantis range combines elegance and technology with a design inspired by the delicacy of the praying mantis. "A piece without a set time," is how architect Marcelo Alvarenga defines the line, which has impeccable brushed finishes. The drive wheel has a texture reminiscent of the preciousness of a jewel, while its soft jet evokes a nostalgic feeling, combining practicality and beauty. Ideal for those looking for versatility and refinement, the range is the perfect combination of functionality and sophistication.

Greater water savings and cutting-edge technology

The Ômega PressMatic® faucet combines technology and sustainability, guaranteeing water savings of up to 60% with its automatic shut-off, making it ideal for environments with a large circulation of people. Its clean, modern design blends in with different architectural styles. The Ômega PressMatic® comes in a variety of colors with exclusive finishes such as gold and brushed copper, as well as meeting the requirements for LEED certification, contributing to more sustainable buildings.
