Innovation, research, and historical references were the focus of discussions on the third day of the event.

On Thursday, March 12, Central da Arquitetura kicked off its program with a panel discussion organized by CAU/SP on retrofit projects. The event featured Eduardo Ferroniof H+F Arquitetos and members of the council, who emphasized the importance of retrofitting as a strategy that combines heritage preservation with innovation in contemporary architecture.

In the afternoon, architects Fernando ForteandRodrigo Ferraz of the firm FGMF Arquitetos presented their career paths and projeto approach. The architects highlighted their creative process and their quest to develop architectural solutions.

To conclude the program, architect Alê Salles of Estúdio Tarimba shared reflections on his professional career and on approaches that draw on education, practical experience, and references to traditional architecture.
