Cosentino participates in the 22nd edition of Expo Revestir

Published in
23.2.2024

The company will present the main Silestone® and Dekton® collections at the stand designed by Diego Raposo + Arquitetos, showing the versatility, beauty and innovation of the inspiring surfaces from Cosentino.

Cosentino, a leading multinational in the production and distribution of innovative and sustainable surfaces for the world of architecture and design, will be present at the 22nd edition of Expo Revestir, which takes place between March 19 and 22, 2024, at the São Paulo Expo in São Paulo.

Occupying an area of 160m², the company will present the main Silestone® and Dekton® collections that have arrived on the market. Designed by Diego Raposo + Arquitetos, the space will feature the products applied to the furniture that makes up the stand's environments, showing the versatility, beauty and innovation of Cosentino's inspiring surfaces.

Architect Diego Raposo explains that the motto of projeto was sustainability and versatility. "As Consentino is a company that works on the idea of sustainability, we translated respect for nature into the design of the space. In this way, two conceptual ideas were applied to the stand. Firstly, a mini forest brings the experience of nature and introduces the products in this context, showing their versatility. For the second, a Lab has been set up at projeto so that visitors to Revestir can see the various possible applications for the products."

The new products on display are available in a variety of thicknesses: 4mm, 8mm, 12mm and 20mm, which allows Silestone® and Dekton® to be used in a wide variety of applications. The stand explores this diversity by presenting products applied to floors, walls, ventilated façades, kitchen and bathroom countertops, tile bathtubs, tables, benches and furniture. Cosentino presents solutions for bathrooms, with pisobox, flooring, walls, tile for baths and tubs.

Two years since its last launch, Silestone® presents its new collection: Urban Crush - a commitment to elegance, color and innovation for new urban spaces with a modern aesthetic and full of life.

Discreet at first glance, the series overflows with the intense pulse of the city, featuring dusty textures and designs that create an ideal industrial look. Natural and perfect hues to illuminate raw and eclectic spaces deeply rooted in the new urban aesthetics of young people and families who want to celebrate life.

This elegant collection, reminiscent of the appearance of limestone and sandstone, is made up of four colors: Lime Delight, Concrete Pulse, Brass Relish and Cinder Craze, with designs inspired by the textures of the city, which express the essence of Silestone® in its commitment to color and the spirit of disruption to set trends.

Silestone® Urban Crush colors:

- Lime Delight - The textured beige tones of Lime Delight are a versatile base for any interior design, from calm and pure spaces to more unexpected proposals. Its warm, bright tones are reminiscent of the splendor of the famous Marbella limestone.

- Concrete Pulse - The gray tone of Concrete Pulse is perfect for eclectic interiors, where it helps to create a vibrant spectacle of contrasts. This raw, natural gray tone plays playfully with light and shadow.

- Brass Relish - The grainy brown of Brass Relish blends perfectly with the colors and design elements of modern vintage style. This elegant and sophisticated color finely embodies granulated sandstone.

- Cinder Craze - The almost black, grainy tones of Cinder Craze add style, personality and life to interiors inspired by industrial aesthetics. It's a modern reinterpretation of black sandstone.

Another launch on the stand is the Le Chic collection. "Elegance", when referring to a piece of work, is something that is distinguished by a minimalist simplicity that does not prevent precision and excellence. In turn, something is said to be "refined" when it is perfected, becoming finer and purer. Both definitions are embodied in Le Chic, the latest launch of Silestone® by Cosentino. After conquering urban spaces with the modern aesthetic of the Urban Crush series, Le Chic shows all the elegance and sophistication of Silestone®.

The new series redefines a timeless classic. A step forward at tile with veiled patterns, with six design proposals that offer the charm of Victorian and Parisian spaces, harking back to nostalgia with a modern and timeless execution. The Le Chic collection is an elegant and sophisticated offering at the crossroads of fashion and design. The patterns feature expressive veins and metallic touches that stand out against neutral backgrounds such as cream, deep blues and blacks, achieving designs full of depth.

Refinement flourishes from the basis of innovation and sustainability. Le Chic represents a breakthrough in surface manufacturing Cosentino, as the detailed veins require a new design system. The intricate, interwoven veins are possible thanks to the brand's new molding system, bringing to life particles and minerals of a wide variety of sizes and creating an incredible new texture.

The Le Chic collection is made up of six designs: Parisien Blue, Eclectic Pearl, Versailles Ivory, Victorian Silver, Bohemian Flame and Romantic Ash.

Silestone® Le Chic colors:

- Parisien Blue - Pure nostalgia for the French capital. It has a deep blue tone with a strong personality and powerful character. Inspired by the tones seen in famous Roman imperial stones, combined with fine veins in shades of ochre.

- Eclectic Pearl - One of the best examples of the essence of Le Chic. The perfect fusion of classic and modern. Flowing chains of delicate tones encrusted with grains like diamonds in jewelry. Eclectic Pearl mesmerizes with delicate veins, texture and metallic touches across the surface.

- Versailles Ivory - The warmest shade in the collection. Subtle two-tone marbling in the background with gradient effects that captivate with the shimmering lights of its golden glow. Versailles Ivory exudes luxury and elegance, recalling the exuberance of the Palace of Versailles.

- Victorian Silver - Soft and subtle two-tone marbling in the background, with gradient effects and great depth. The cool undertone blends with its silver veins and dark greys to create an elegant color that fits perfectly with warm and cool tones.

- Bohemian Flame - This color features subtle sinuous veins with metallic inserts in copper tones. It is inspired by the movement of golden lava flows that create scars in volcanic soil. It is reminiscent of the golden flame of calmly moving candles, accentuating small metallic pieces.

- Romantic Ash - Another example of Le Chic's visual excellence. Large rivers and grain inlays in various sizes awaken memories of a Milky Way visible in a clear starry sky. The touch of blue strengthens the depth of Romantic Ash.

Silestone® Urban Crush, Silestone® Le Chic & HybriQ+®

Urban Crush features HybriQ+®, an exclusive and pioneering technology developed for Silestone® by Cosentino. The true sustainability of this collection comes from Cosentino's patented HybriQ+® technology. Launched in 2020, HybriQ+® is a qualitative leap in the evolution of the brand, in a new production process characterized by the company's commitment to the environment, the circular economy and sustainable management. With HybriQ+®, in addition to the environmental achievements of Cosentino, such as the use of 99% recycled water and 100% renewable electricity in the production process, at least 20% recycled materials are used in the manufacture of Silestone®.

In addition, the technology stands out for its new formulation in the composition of Silestone®, where the presence of crystalline silica is significantly reduced. Urban Crush therefore has less than 40% crystalline silica in its composition.

Dekton® will also be bringing two launches to the stand, Dekton® Uriyo and Dekton® Pietra Kode. Ukiyo is a new textured collection that features linear fluting, offers livable luxury with the durability of Dekton® and represents a milestone in the sector by presenting sheets with fluted structures

Created in collaboration with internationally recognized interior and high-end product designer Claudia Afshar, the collection is available in ready-to-install corrugated sheets, one of the first offerings of its kind in the sector. Its textures bring distinct depth and dimension to any space, whether residential or commercial.

Inspired by Japanese and contemporary design, Dekton® Ukiyo celebrates the art of minimalism and embracing the present. Ukiyo means "living in the moment" and the collection is designed to awaken the senses and evoke a sense of well-being, achieving a beautiful and calm state in space. It incorporates a rich palette of sensations, featuring a geometric yet soft structure that creates harmonious designs both inside and out.

Specially designed for vertical cladding applications, Dekton® Ukiyo will be available in a matt finish and two fluting options: GV2, with grooves 25mm apart, 5mm wide and 3mm deep; and GV3, with grooves 11mm apart, 4mm wide and deep. Both will be supplied in 450mm x 3000mm sheets. To launch the Ukiyo collection, Afshar handpicked five existing Dekton® colors: Bromo, Kreta, Nacre, Umber and Rem, to provide a comprehensive color palette for working independently and together.

Dekton® products are carbon neutral throughout their entire life cycle and were selected for the collection because of their sustainable properties and high-performance features. Dekton® Ukiyo is ideal for a virtually unlimited range of vertical applications, from facades and fireplaces to custom furniture and much more.

Dekton® Ukiyo colors:

- Bromo offers a dark gray tone, inspired by homogeneous metamorphic rocks such as slate. Subtle, faded graphics, a carefully created texture and natural aesthetics define this evocative color, perfect for any type of environment.

- Kreta is inspired by classic cement floors with a calm movement. The design is uniform and controlled, although it offers darker or lighter areas depending on the density of the pattern. Its matte texture and gray tone match any type of material and make it suitable for a variety of applications.

- Nacre presents a movement that involves all the senses, the spatula marks that bring the color to life, the subtle play of light and shadow that accompanies every inch of the design. The touch is delighted by a silky finish when the fingers pass over the different reliefs and gradients scattered throughout. A pleasure for its high decorative and emotional value.

- Umber is a timeless and rebellious color with its own personality and special charisma. Terracotta is warm and very earthy and closely connected to nature.

- Rem offers an intricate design, with brown and gray veins and touches of gold. Its fine veins under a subtle grain offer the ultimate in natural sensitivity.

Dekton® Pietra Kode brings together beauty, resistance and functionality while referencing some of Italy's most precious stones for a timeless perspective that connects classicism with modernity. The range incorporates Vitruvius' principles for a perfect city through three series: Vicenza Kode, Travertine Kode and Ceppo Kode and was developed in collaboration with Daniel Germani, a multi-award-winning Argentine designer.
