The brand presents five new MDFs developed from an exclusive study with WGSN, reveals innovation with metallic aesthetics, and reopens Casa Guararapes Paulo during DW!

Guararapes, a national benchmark in the production of MDF panels and one of the largest plywood exporters in Latin America, with a presence in more than 50 countries, presents its 2026 launches at Expo Revestir, at booth J46. The brand is bringing five new MDF patterns to the fair, developed from an exclusive study commissioned from WGSN, a global benchmark in trend forecasting, which revealed the aesthetic, chromatic, and sensory definitions for the coming years.

The main launch of the collection is Nordic Oak MDF, developed in partnership with architect Arthur Casas, internationally recognized for projects that combine precision, timeless elegance, and sophistication. The collaboration represents a milestone for Guararapes launching a signature product and reinforces the brand's connection with Brazilian architecture.

The pattern conveys a contemporary interpretation of natural wood, with a grayish beige tone, in line with the architectural language of Studio Arthur Casas. The MDF innovates by presenting unique cathedrals across the width of the sheet (1.85 m), creating a continuous and refined effect, especially suitable for large panels and spacious environments.

Also among the five new releases is Fresno Douro, joining the four existing patterns in the Syncro Ash Line. The new MDF combines deep texture and warm tones in yellowish beige, with a pearlescent effect reminiscent of the open-pore technique used in high-end woodworking.

The Colors line has also been expanded with three new solid colors: Doce de Leite, Verde Oliva, and Marrom Sépia, developed based on the same trend direction and designed to be combined with the wood patterns in the collection.

Products never before seen on the Brazilian market

In addition to its official launches, Guararapes two innovations at the fair. Áris Lab incorporates exclusive German chemical protection technology, making it 100% resistant to agents. The panel allows for easy removal of graffiti, pen ink, grease, and reagents, maintaining the original white color without stains. It also offers protection against UV rays, heat, scratches, and fingerprints, making it suitable for high-use environments such as schools, laboratories, industrial kitchens, and public furniture.
