Corporate Architecture Cultural Award Opens for Entries

Registration is now open for the first edition of the Corporate Architecture Cultural Award, a pioneering initiative that recognizes corporate architecture as a cultural expression and highlights projects capable of transforming work environments. Organized by Office Connection, in partnership with G2Arte, the projeto an awards ceremony, an exhibition, debates, meetings, and educational activities to broaden the discussion on the role of architecture in the quality of work environments.

Made possible by the Federal Culture Incentive Law (Rouanet Law – Art. 18), the award will culminate in an exhibition open to the public at the São Paulo Cultural Center (CCSP), lasting more than 30 days. The program will feature architectural projects, photographs, technical drawings, images, videos, scale models, and curatorial content, as well as debates, guided tours, and educational activities.

Against the backdrop of changing labor relations, corporate architecture is gaining increasing importance by contributing to healthier, more productive, and more sustainable environments. For the projeto curator, architect Cláudia Andrade—a national authority on corporate architecture, workplace strategies, and change management—the initiative broadens our understanding of the impacts of corporate architecture beyond the business world.

"For a long time, corporate architecture was viewed solely as a business tool. Today, we understand that it has a direct impact on people’s well-being, organizational productivity, and the development of society," says Cláudia Andrade.

For visual artist Ismael Oliveira, director of G2 Arte, the initiative aims to bring this debate closer to society. “More than just recognizing the best projects, we want to encourage public reflection on how the spaces where we work influence our quality of life, our human relationships, and our culture. The award aims to bring this debate closer to society through the exhibition, meetings, and educational activities.”

According to Luis Onaga, Business Director at Office Connection, the initiative creates a permanent platform for promoting Brazilian corporate architecture, bringing together professionals, companies, institutions, and society in a discussion that grows in importance every year.

“Corporate architecture has come to reflect organizational culture, innovation, sustainability, identity, and quality of life. Recognizing this evolution means encouraging projects capable of generating positive impacts far beyond the physical boundaries of organizations,” adds Gustavo Sígolo, executive director of Office Connection.

Registration

Entries are open to architects and architecture and design firms from all over Brazil through August 31, 2026. The entries will be evaluated by an independent jury composed of professionals of recognized national standing, using a structured methodology, blind judging, and peer review to ensure impartiality and technical rigor.
