Buyer Projeto holds over a thousand meetings during Expo Revestir, expected to generate US$ 37.5 million in new business

Organized through the Ceramics of Brazil Sector Projeto , 70 buyers and eight international journalists visited the largest tiles and finishes fair in Latin America

Anfacer (National Association of Ceramic Tile, Sanitary Ware and Related Products Manufacturers), in partnership with ApexBrasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency), promoted another edition of the Buyer and Image Projeto during Expo Revestir 2025. Recognized as the largest coatings and finishes trade fair in Latin America, the event was held from March 10 to 14, 2025, at the São Paulo Expo, in São Paulo.

The agenda of the Buyer Projeto took place over four days of the event, resulting in more than a thousand business meetings with Brazilian manufacturers of ceramic tiles and sanitary ware. The estimated amount of business done during the fair was US$ 13.9 million and the expectation for the next 12 months is more than US$ 23.6 million.

The aim of the initiative was to strengthen the ceramic tile production sector and facilitate closer ties between the Brazilian industry and international buyers from 25 countries: South Africa, Argentina, Barbados, Chile, Colombia, Ivory Coast, Costa Rica, Curaçao, El Salvador, United Arab Emirates, Ecuador, Guatemala, Guyana, Honduras, Jamaica, Japan, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Portugal, Dominican Republic, Saint Lucia, Trinidad and Tobago, Uruguay and Venezuela. This was the 17th edition of the Buyer Projeto held during the fair.

Brazil is a major player in the world ceramic tile market, being the third largest producer, third largest consumer and sixth in the export ranking.

In 2025, Brazilian exports totaled 85.9 million square meters, with South America (48.5%) and North America (27%) as the main destinations.
