The 16th Tile Brasil International Award celebrates projects that explore ceramics in architecture

On Thursday, March 12, the ceremony for the 16th International Tile Brasil Award – Ceramic Projeto was held, with official sponsorship from ANFACER. This was the first time the event was held during Expo Revesti.

Recognized for valuing creativity and innovation in the use of ceramics, the award highlighted works by Brazilian architects and designers who explore the material as an architectural element in an original, inspiring, and surprising way. The initiative reinforces the role of ceramics as a protagonist in contemporary architecture and design projects.

In this edition, the award covered projects in eight categories: House, Apartment, Facade, Commercial, Summer Home, Retrofit, Furniture, and Setting. The entries were evaluated by an international jury of experts in architecture, design, and ceramics, who analyzed aspects such as concept, application of the material, creativity, and visual impact.
